In 1979, the Torres family—renowned wine and brandy merchants and producers in Spain—founded the Chilean wine company Miguel Torres Chile, establishing a 100-hectare vineyard at the foot of the Andes Mountains.

As its wines developed, the estate quickly prospered and today spans more than 400 hectares across six different properties. In 2017, Miguel Torres Chile introduced the winery’s first pisco from the Limarí Valley, the fourth wine-growing region of Chile, where Moscatel Rosada and Moscatel de Alejandría grapes are cultivated—varieties perfectly suited to impart pisco’s rich, characteristic aromas.
