Created in France in 2018, Bartolomeo draws its inspiration from the history of the great explorers who set out to discover the Route to India, a strategic trade route for the spice trade. In 1487, the Portuguese Bartolomeu Dias was the first to sail beyond the Cape of Good Hope, at the tip of South Africa, thus opening the sea route to the Indian city of Goa for Vasco da Gama.
Bartolomeo gin’s botanical recipe pays homage to this spirit of discovery, combining ingredients from Africa and Asia with juniper berries for a fresh tasting experience with intense citrus flavors.
