The origin of cachaça dates back to the 16th century. Long considered a basic, popular and local alcohol (more than 4,000 listed brands), cachaça is now elevated to the status of a national alcohol. Primarily consumed in caipirinhas, cachaça has become one of the most consumed “trendy” spirits in the world.
Cana de Belem is produced in southern Brazil, west of São Paulo. Its rich and dynamic fragrances evoke the sweetness of sugar cane and the freshness of vegetal notes underlined with hints of lemon.
